The Deaf Northwest News is a website, newsletter & mailing list including information ranging from event announcements, news, sports, state school for the deaf news & sports, press releases, state and local newspapers, advertisements, classified ads, business news, education news, technology news, sports news, religious news, ADA, local/state government news and job opportunities of interest to the Deaf, Deaf-Blind, Hard of Hearing, Late-Deafened, Speech-Challenged, and professionals in Audiology/Speech-Language Pathology/Communication Disorders in the Northwest (Local/State).

Deaf-NW service covers 5 states, including Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington. Deaf-NW is located in Renton, WA, just outside of Seattle.

You agree, as a subscriber of the Deaf Northwest News mailing list, that you will not use this list to post any material or information which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise violation of any law.

You agree to not collect or store personal data about other Deaf Northwest News subscribers, including but not limited to email addresses of these subscribers. You agree to not contact subscribers who include their email addresses in their submissions for any reason other than to seek additional information about their submission. Their email addresses may not under any circumstance be added to your personal, organization or business mailing list without the permission of the subscriber and the Deaf Northwest News Moderators.

You agree not to post any copyrighted material to the Deaf Northwest News list unless the copyright is owned by you personally or you have obtained permission to post the material to the list. You also agree not to post, publish or distribute any other subscriber's information or comments found on this list without written permission of the Deaf Northwest News Moderators.

The Deaf Northwest News is not responsible for the content of any message posted. You remain solely responsible for the content of your messages and agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Deaf Northwest News, its Moderators and Sponsors with respect to any claim based upon transmission of your message(s).

The Deaf Northwest News reserves the right to reveal your identity (or any/whatever information we know about you) in the event of a complaint or legal action arising from any message posted by you.

You agree not to repost/republish any submission distributed by the Deaf Northwest News on another mailing list, website or publication without explicit written permission from the Deaf Northwest News Moderators.

Please note that non-deaf/hoh/deaf-blind advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, and solicitations are inappropriate on Deaf Northwest News. You hereby agree to refrain from making such postings.

Deaf Northwest News reserves the right to terminate access to any subscriber who does not abide by these Terms of Service. Individuals, organizations and businesses that are caught harvesting email addresses from our list will be permanently banned from the list and subject to legal action.
